Curious if anyone is being directly impacted with their industry whether it's laid off, not working, etc. Was thinking of starting a fundraiser up on here to help if anyone needs it.

If not, was going to look at starting one to donate some money to health care workers. Maybe sending pizzas or food their way? Anyone oppose?

We should send a gift basket to Gruden asking for our gift basket back.

Serious.

Working from home, which actually isn’t my cup of tea. Distractions are everywhere, but far less impactful than what many others are dealing with at the moment. Make shift standing desk in heated garage, until April 6th.

I see the vacuum just out of frame...did you vacuum just to make it look nice for the pic?

Wife works in health care up close. They are past trusting food they didn't make. Fund for masks and safety gear would be great.

no, that was done for me. I figure if i'm working out here full time until April 6th (at least) I need a clean work space. I did spend time this weekend re-organizing the garage. I still have a long way to go on that too.

Definitely looking like a laid off situation for me(tourism industry). But, I’ll be alright. Give it to the health care workers for sure

Doesn't anyone find it strange you have been delegated to the garage? Wife not want you in the house between 8 and 5?:hawkstroll:

Based on what I'm reading, the equipment stuff is probably way more valuable to them than food at this point. Masks and the like will go a long way for those front line health care workers

Issue there is money isn't the problem for that equipment.

Artificial scarcity.... hoarding... price gouging....

If they nationalize this supply chain, donating to buy items in this supply chain will work... till then it is just more money that will get thrown at a broken supply chain.

2 kids ages 4 and 1. I'm good with the heated garage and standing desk. We don't have an extra room in the house for an office, so this is the next best thing. There's a keg fridge about 15 feet away too, strictly for happy hour... which starts here in about an hour.

I am so glad I switched all of my banking, personal and business, to a credit union a few years ago. No way in hell would I want to be dealing with a national bank in this crisis.

We just need to give them more money, then they will make everything ok

If anyone has any links or specific ways as to where to donate too, I'm all ears and we can set something up on here.

I’m pretty sure that I had it. So, yeah, probably directly affected.

Also: I don’t think a Bears fan should have a Bears rug. I’d rather walk over and dirty up a Vikings rug.

You could treat it like one of those Dojo rugs. I remember when I was a kid and taking karate they had this rug right at the entrance that had the dojo's symbol on it and if you ever stepped on it you had to do pushups. "Step on the C and you owe me twenty pushups and a twelve pack of good beer."

Edit: My stance is any sort of Bears memorabilia is allowed. Including Rugs, and Jerseys.
