Time to cut him loose. I hope Terry can develop some defense and passing.

Stretch provision would just extend the bleeding. I'm not joking when i say that Luol Deng was still on the Lakers payroll last season. Likewise with Noah in New York. What i'm curious about is what makes one eligible for medical retirement?

Lonzo is under contract next year and then has a player option the following year. Anyone know how player options work in regards to the stretch provision?

crazy how maybe a two month injury turned into him possibly not playing any meaningful games for nearly two years.

Ball is just on the Jonathan Issac path to return.

Another win for the reinsdorf medical malpractice team ???

Turns out Rose should have got the surgery and Ball should have taken the 18 month failed rehab followed by surgery?

I think he's done as a Bull for whatever reason.

Or his knee only has a couple years left and he will show up mud-way next year to prep for a big year during his player option.

His daddy didn't raise no dummies. Strictly speaking as current contracts are worded this is the smart business move.

I don’t see how Ball plays another game. Career likely is over. Mysterious pain, nothing structurally wrong, etc. Only thing left to do is cut the knee open, tear all the ligaments, repair, and hope that fixes it.

He needs the Batman or the Doctor Strange.

High mountains. Mystic healer. Spiritual mind/body training.

I'd do it but I'm busy.

At some point the kid will want to see what his body can do in pain I guess.

Welp the entire Ball family is home now.

LaMelo broke his ankle.
Sounds like it's Call of Duty at the shoe shop all summer. Lol

Actually this is the first bit of hope I've felt about Lamars situation in over a year.

Here me out...

But Lamar clearly does not have the personality to rehab an injury and play through pain. The only hope now, is that LaMelo may be hungrier, touched by a proximity to Michael Fucking Jordan himself and inspired to get back for him. If he shows Lamar how to want it and they rehab together just maybe they can come back together and compete for comeback player of the year.
