The old saying, "If it's not broken, don't fix it" makes sense.

But that assumes you SHOULD fix it if it is broken. The Bears receivers group is definitely broken. Pettis and ESB failed with their prior teams and look to be failures here. No big surprise. Smith-Marsette is a gadget player and not a reliable receiver. Pringle is injured.

So why not give Isaiah Coulter a shot. He has good size, excellent speed and was the leader in preseason games by a big margin. If he fails, chalk it up to information gained going into next years draft and free agency. But, try something, Please.

ESB has played well in limited opportunities but you wanna play Coulter?

No

History tells us that ESB is not much of a receiver. But even so, it's ok to add Coulter and keep ESB if that makes you happy. It's not like the Bears receiving corps has any depth, is it?. For God's sake try something!

St. Brown is a real WR. The bears do not have many of those. Mooney and maybe pringle but time will tell. Bengals have like 5 legit WRs

Lol

He was on IR Monday. He is on the report today because he just got off IR and is limited.

THIS.

OP / article insinuates in limited context that a (new or currently active) WR was ADDED to the report. Everyone knows N’Keal Harry was JUST taken off IR and began practicing. Obviously he might be limited or not yet a full participant or off the list. He was all but on the report immediately.

SNOPES would grade this as "Misleading" at BEST.

C'mon Jordan. This is real click-baity stuff here. You can do better.

He was full today. Could have been yesterday too. How am I supposed to know his status coking out of IR?

Glad to see Coulter was elevated from the practice squad. He may fail, but at least the team is trying something to deal with the worst receiver group in the NFL.
