Probably will do a lot of good things. At a need position too. Still, hard to really get excited after the disaster that has unfolded thus far.

Honestly, draft offensive line with the first three picks. Get the rookies some experience and tank. Get a top flight QB next year and move the F on.
Oline in first. Trade second round pick to shitty team for their first next year to make sure we have trade pieces to draft top qb next year.

Pace trading for future picks is laughable.

Should be a solid replacement for Robert Quinn.

If you have never heard of the guy pace will stop at nothing to close the deal. That said I like this one from what I can see.

For what it's worth: Jeremiah Attaochu | Chicago Bears ED | NFL and PFF stats | PFF

PFF grades per year:

2020 = 62.5
2019 = 55.6
2018 = 67.8
2017 = 69.2
2016 = 53.1
2015 = 74.5
2014 = 64.0

I recall him coming out of the draft. Overall a mixed bag when it comes to production. Just as a reference point Mack has been above 86 his entire career and Quinn was a 61.6 last year.

This is just the exact type of player who comes to Chicago and has the best year, by far, of his career. Not saying it is necessarily fated, but to see this guy rack up eight or more sacks and generally be a terror would not be the least bit surprising to me. The Bears needed an edge rusher with how average Mack looked last year and how abysmal Quinn was. This might at least be a player that bridges them to next season.

What are we basing this off of?

He has been solid in limited reps.

He's been fine

Blackson has been good

Tevis Gipson needs to be active and play at least 10-15 snaps at olb

The nickle corner spot has been awful and the safety play hasn't been much better
