5 years ago, making a move for CK would've been a good idea. But he's what, 32 now? That's past the age where QB's start using their legs less and their arm more.....and that's also where the argument ends. Without his running threat, he's nothing more than a backup QB....and a mediocre one at that.

What is interesting is if they are going to do measurables today like in the combine.

Oh, I would take Mariota over CK as well. That wouldn't be until next year though.

The thing that is kinda pissing me off though is it just appears that the Bears are so worried about coddling to Mitch and trying to hide they are actively looking to get better at the position. If he is that fragile that he will just emotionally break at the mere thought of getting replaced, then I am sorry but he is not mentally made up to be a QB. They were talking about this on the score last night and I agree with it.
If there was a difference maker QB available like Andrew Luck, I would imagine the Bears would have interest.
I am not sure how people see CK as better. He was similar to MT in his prime, 3 years before being cut and before several injuries, was worse after, and has not played for 3 season.

I would have questions for anyone wanting to have the Bears consider CK.
How do think CK could improve the Bears?
If you believe he would, can you prove he does significantly better than MT, esp. since his injuries?
I see nothing but a washed up( giving he ever wasn't) and washed out QB that is being given chances purely to satisfy the NFL's need for PR.

But he's rested and healthy. ;)

I think the one thing that would make me want to watch Bears games LESS is if they signed Colin "communist shill" Kaepernick.

fuck that guy, I hope he never plays another down in the NFL again. Go count your Nike money that you earned in this capitalist economy by selling woke socialist nonsense to progressive idiots

And that's all I got to say about that

Why would we ? Pace may get 1 more shot at a qb. He would not waste it. He better not waste it.

the reason some of us are lobbying for CK is the cost associated. You see the price for free agent QB these days, no? I mean Cousins can bank 90 million. Jay Cutler signed an extension with the Bears for over 100 million, lol. Bears don't even have 1st or 3rd round picks this upcoming draft so am sure the Bears will hold onto what they have.

Bears would only sign CK for a 1 year prove it deal. Low risk on team end aside from the initial PR hit. If they can't get CK at terms favorable to the team there are plenty of other QB's available.

He asked for $20+M/YR to play in the AAF. Just so you know.

why would he come back for league min? He's going to demand more and claim discrimination if he isn't paid what he was making before. Thats what people like him do.

and Dak Prescott wants to be the highest paid at 30++ million.

Neither will get it but there is nothing wrong with agents aiming high. We'll see how it all plays out.

And that's all he's trying to accomplish,,,,,He asked for $20+M/YR to play in the AAF. Just so you know. ,,,,, He could care two shits about the NFL or the teams. He's just wanting another pay day so He & his muslim gf can take that money and run.
He is slime and will ruin the Bear's fan base,if given a chance.

I think the difference between Mitch and CK sacks are the most interesting. Is it because CK doesn't get rid of the ball or was his offensive line making him run for his life more? Because to me, the eye test shows that CK has a better chance of helping his team win than Mitch.

Unfucking believable. I was going to explain how Nagy has coached running out of his QB. And explain how Lamar Jackson and CK are nothing alike, but then you hit me with "Kaps production right now we would be a Super Bowl contender. Easily."
that stands on its own as the stupidest argument made since this CK issue resurfaced. In fact it is Tom Brady 6 x SB champion GOAT level championship stupid.

Ive come to the conclusion that you just aren’t very smart or are under cover racists. Most people have already come to the conclusion that with ANY competent QB the Bears would be a Super Bowl contender. Kap has lead his team 3 straight years to the NFC championship and 1 Super Bowl. If Kap can recapture that we are easily a contender. I really just wish people would say what they really mean. Kap Threatens white supremacy. White people have benefited in this country for so long because of their privilege and now that Kap is bringing awareness to this situation it kills yall because maybe one day things will truly be EQUAL

Go trade for Cam Newton if you're so concerned with the Bears having a black QB

Coax Michael Vick out of retirement. I'd rather the Bears sign a dog torturer than a communist who pals around with scum like Linda Sarsour

Will any black QB do to prove how not racist we are? Literally sign any black QB other than Kaepernick.

Cam is better than him anyway

Nice effort calling anyone that doesn't want a guy that was ranked 20th, 31st, and 17th in passer rating and 24th, 33rd, and 30th in yards his last 3 seasons in the NFL a racist.
Still can't beat your post that CK makes the Bears a SB contender for pure football ignorance, but I think you now have the #1 and #2 post in that category.
