The Bears are the 13th most valuable sports franchise in the world in the latest rankings released by Forbes Magazine.

The lofty position ranks them behind nine other NFL franchises, two European soccer clubs and the New York Yankees.

The NFL rules the list, commanding 15 of the top 20 spots. Per Forbes, the Bears are worth $1.08 billion with an annual revenue of $241 million, which ties for sixth among NFL clubs on the list.

The Dallas Cowboys, by virtue of the opening of owner Jerry Jones' new stadium last year, are tops in the NFL this year with an estimated value of $1.65 billion. The Washington Redskins are next in the NFL at $1.55 billion but owner Daniel Snyder's annual revenue of $345 million is No. 1 in the league. Manchester United tops the entire list at $1.83 billion. The financing by the Glazer family, which also owns the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, has been in question. Curiously, the Bucs came in at $1.09 billion, just ahead of the Bears.

Here are the top NFL clubs per Forbes:

1. Dallas $1.65 billion
2. Washington $1.55 billion
3. New England $1.36 billion
4. N.Y. Giants $1.18 billion
5. N.Y. Jets $1.17 billion
6. Houston $1.15 billion
7. Philadelphia $1.12 billion
8. Tampa Bay $1.09 billion
9. Bears $1.08 billion
10. Denver $1.08 billion
11. Baltimore $1.08 billion

13. Cleveland $1.03 billion
14. Kansas City $1.03 billion
