Ryan Poles does not care about helping Justin Fields. If he did, we would’ve seen some sort of evidence for it.
Just own it. If Poles doesn’t believe in Fields, he doesn’t believe in Fields. He’s the GM. It’s his decision. But let’s stop pretending the Bears didn’t have any money for an OL or WR, or that Poles couldn’t have possibly gotten anyone better than Pringle in free agency, or that Mooney is a #1 receiver.
Just own that Poles is telling Fields, “You better do it all on your own this year or you’re gone.”
