Bears sign defensive end Maurice Evans

The Bears have signed defensive end Maurice Evans.

An undrafted free agent from Penn State last year, Evans spent time with the New York Giants and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

He came out of school a year early and scouts said last year he would have benefitted by one more year of college.

The team will announce a corresponding roster move to make space for Evans.
