I don't like the additional game - For one thing, it means some teams get an extra road game, and some teams get an extra home game...How id that equitable?

It is also one more game against an uncommon opponent, which I'm not a fan of.

And quite possibly shorter careers for a number of players. The Bears voted correctly, but avarice won out.

An 8-9 7th seed playoff berth and 1st rnd flame out would be worth a 4 yr extension for Pace and Nagy. I mean 2 playoff yrs in a row, what else can you ask for?

I actually never put much thought into it yet, but I like how there won't be, or at least more rare, for a team to be. 500..

17 actually makes more sense to me than 16. You still play a non-conference division. But instead of playing an equal opponent from two of the remaining non conference divisions and rotating you play an opponent from all 3 divisions.

It means 1st place teams play 3 other 1st place teams. It hopefully also adds a but more parity to some of the divisions
