I don’t know what some of y’all are watching but Detroit could possibly be terrifying next season. It would be just our luck that Detroit builds a fuckin dynasty right after Rodgers is gone.
Terrifying? A little dramatic don’t you think? They are not on the same level as the Chiefs, Bills, Eagles, etc.. The Lions could be a solid team next year and are dependent on Goff having a very good year.

Nodody was putting the Eagles on the same tier of as the Chiefs and Bills at this time last year. Detroit has 4 picks in the top 55, 2 picks in the top 20. That team is being setup for long term success. They already had a very nice core of younger players. All of the FA signings were younger players and none of the contracts were overpays.

And your point? They are not a terrifying team. Plain and simple. No one is terrified of Jared Goff.

They have been building through the draft the same as Poles is doing, all those years losing they have had a bunch of high draft picks. FA are fillers for what you don't and can't draft

The Lions are the team on the rise for sure. Minny is ok but I don't think they will be any better than they were last year. And we all saw how they scooted out of the playoffs like a dog with a big fat turn on its ass.

Detroit built the team the right way so far and still have two first round picks this year. Barring something horrific happening they should be the team to beat this year. I'm hoping we will be in their position next year.

It all depends on the qb.
With Rodgers gone it's a reset in the NFCN.
Goff is Goff, but he did look good last yr.
Cousins is Cousins.
Fields has some optimism, at least to bears fans.
Love is hopefully a bust.

I think the North could very much end up like the NFC South last year. Bunch of mediocre teams duking it out to lose first round in the playoffs. Team with the best QB wins.

Goff has been in the league for 7 years and has been fine.

Cousins has been in the league for 11 years and has been fine.

Fields has been in the league for 2 years with one full season under his belt. We don’t know who Fields is yet.
