Nick did well tonight. With a weak Oline and no running game, Nick kept his cool and made plays to help us win the game. Can’t ask for much more than that under the circumstances.

Also, the guy is high IQ - he is like having another coach on the field. He was seeing things that Nagy was missing. He was even teaching Nagy at one point in the game.

He is a refreshing change out of the QB position.

This fucking guy. It’s been like this for 3 fucking years. Talk about a total hypocrite.

replace Foles with any QB and you get the same shit. A bad o line and cutesy play calling. The difference on this board is likable. Mitch isn’t Liked in Chicago. Foles is. It’s why Foles or anybody else sees the blame shift away from the QB now.

We need to build an Oline for next year, and the next QB in next years draft So Nick can be protected and the heir apparent can be trained behind a competent o line.

We had Mitch and Mitch couldn't do the things that Foles can do so it would not be be the same

All Mitch brought to the table was mobility and not even game breaking mobility like jackson he brought mobility thats only good for the occasional big game but other than that NOTHING.

We rarely scored TWICE with Mitch and we rarely got 20 points with him as well. Weve already did it twice in the 3 games Foles has played anybody thats thinks its the same is either a Trubisky or a damn fool .

the consensus is that it’s the QB. Nobody seems to question just how bad the tackles that protect them are. Look at Leno on the clutch Montgomery play this week. Then look at last weeks game. It’s every week! It has been for 4 years. Mitch masked that. Foles overcame it. However it is there until it is fixed!!!

Foles is a good QB and so is Mitch Trubisky. What isn’t good are the opinions that sound parroted out of frustration.

Just finally saw the game. 2-0 against Brady! Can't believe he lost track of the downs, there was no spike or penalty on the series. Throws it downfield into a tight window on 4th and 5 lol.

I thought Foles had an in between game, up and down. Missed badly on a few throws - the bomb to Mooney was a disaster, the 3rd and 2 miss to Robinson, the INT was an underthrow. Then he gets hot to close out the first half. He's really good against the blitz and finding the RB's, it's a shame Cohen is out, Foles could do more with him than Trubisky.

In the end he comes through an beats Brady, it's like this performance was a metaphor for his whole career.
