Pace/Nagy will reach, and inevitably fail anyway. they leave; the team is left with the lasting effects of their bullshit trade deal.
this is why trading everything for Watson is reckless and silly. just draft your own guy. if Nagy's worth his salt like he claims then they can make them good. if Nagy isn't, which is probably accurate, at the end you only lost 1 pick on the exchange, and the next coaching staff can probably salvage them because it's just a 1 year mistake.
Nagy isn't because Trubisky was a 1 year Fox mistake and he's become progressively worse over time. Nagy needs to get flushed. along with Pace. spending 1 singular pick on a quarterback instead of 4 + a player with value to the team that probably costs a lot of money and needs to inevitably be unloaded somehow will work better in the long term.
