What Lazor said about Nagy's willingness to change was not apparent in the past. This won’t happen. If Mitch loses his starting spot he won’t be on the team next year. Guarantee he’d rather fight for a starting spot or be backup on another team.

I’m afraid that if Lazor fixes Mitch/the Offense he is prime candidate to be a head coach. I have very little confidence that Nagy can continue developing Mitch.

Lets say Mitch has a good year finishing as a top 10 QB, but it seems that Lazor has a lot to do with it. Lazor has interviews lined up whilehe is the playoffs. How much are you going to pay Mitch knowing that Lazor has one foot out the door?

Bears have a favorable schedule to start. First 6 are winnable, they got to shoot for 4-2 record minimum for team confidence and momentum so it's imperative the team gets off to a good start. If Mitch does win the starting gig but struggles early, it'll be a quick yank.
