Imagine if we had a Bizarro Pace that hit on his 1st round picks...

2015 - Todd Gurley
2016 - Laremy Tunsil
2017 - Patrick Mahommes

That would be the foundation of a pretty good offense.

All of these stupid should of/would of threads... Just because a player is good today, does not mean he would have developed in the same way for another team playing against different offenses/defenses for different coaches.
Perhaps if Mitch Trubisky had been drafted by the Chiefs and had a year to sit and learn behind another quarterback with one offense he would be a stud for the Chiefs today?

This is always a terrible argument, and it absolves accountability from the front office. The two QBs taken after Trubisky are just flat out better players. The blame doesn't lie in some whimsical fantasy that they would be bad players and Trubisky a good player if they went elsewhere. The blame lies with Ryan Pace and his incompetence in evaluating QBs.
