Caridad back to DL; Stevens recalled

Esmailin Caridad will be placed on the DL before tonights game with an apparent elbow injury. Last night he threw 4 straight balls and was promptly pulled by Lou.

Stevens had a 2.60 ERA in 12 appearances in AAA with batters hitting a measly .180 including .115 by right-handers.

They are keeping Cashner as a starter. We don't want to see Jeff Samardzija pt. 2.

Stevens was pretty good last season, all his ER's were caused by Heilman coming in and letting the one runner he'd leave on base score.

He is one bad pitcher.
