He cried straight to the locker room and entered into concussion protocol and missed two weeks while shifting with a guy who lost 10 teeth and came back 15 minutes later.
It wasn’t a shot, it was a flipping puck. He took it as paid leave and the club lost interest in him as a project. I believe that’s the moment they thought he had to go, they realized they had a problem.
His history of concussions is severe enough to move on as is if it helps move a player like Jones.
