If you’re going to pull the young QB, then you have to stay with that decision. If Nagy tries some musical chairs bullshit at the QB position, I will lose what small remaining shred of respect I have for him, as a HC.

He's saying in the article they will make a decision and roll...

"More specifically, Nagy said he doesn’t want to do again what he did today. Even if what he did today worked."

I’d be surprised if he answered any other way. No NFL coach is gonna announce a season long change that quick.

Has any team in NFL history switched QBs back and forth mid-game? That seems like some tricksy shit a guy like Nagy might pull

If you watched the post game press conf. you can tell Nagy was just saying the 'right thing' because emotions were high and he didnt want the moment to be about Trubisky losing his job.

If you saw the post game, you would know the link you posted is just to grab attention. Foles is the starter

We have years of Trubisky. He has not improved on game day. If anything he has regressed. The year he did well was Nagy's first year. Offense was really creative. The next year and on, its been an all around poor performance with a few games here and there he did well. I dont think switching to Foles is jumping the gun. Foles off the bench is a higher quality option going forward.

In both QBs defense, they both had massive 4th Quarter comebacks.

Here is the interesting issue.....you go to Foles and he lays a couple nothing burgers, which he has done recently, how do you go back to Trubisky?

Both QBs have had bouts of inconsistency.

Do you go QB by committee....Nagy and Pace's jobs are on the line.

You stick with Nick. If he sucks then he sucks and pace is gone.

I dont think he'll suck though, I think he's better than Mitch and I don't even necessarily think Mitch sucks, so we'll see how it goes.

I'll say that i would be surprised if we don't see Mitch at the helm for another down.

“If it’s Mitch, you roll,” Nagy said. “If it’s Nick, you roll. I don’t want it to be back and forth.”

More specifically, Nagy said he doesn’t want to do again what he did today. Even if what he did today worked.

The fact that Nagy doesn’t want to repeat what he did today suggests that the arrow may be pointing toward Foles. “Nick’s strength is his experience,” Nagy said. “Mitch’s strength is that he’s growing.”

Mitch will likely (hopefully) grow more watching Foles run the O for a while. They better stick with Foles.

There's no reason to go back to Mitch outside of an injury. He'll be gone next year anyway.

I think swapping when one obviously doesn't have it on a given day is fine here but you run with Nick as long as possible and try very hard to not use a rotation. With these 2 guys, I don't think you'll have the team fall into factions etc.
