George Kittle is one of the NFL’s best tight ends, but from Wednesday to Friday of this week, he’s kind of like a fraternity rush chair.
Kittle is hosting Tight End University (TE U), a three-day retreat, so his fellow NFL tight ends can hone their craft and bond with one another.
“I’m always big on building a brotherhood,” the San Francisco 49ers tight end said. “A lot of these guys either don’t know each other or never communicated with each other. It bothers me.”
Kittle is addressing that by having more than 40 NFL tight ends attend his event in Nashville, Tenn., where Kittle and his wife reside in the offseason, to connect and share knowledge.
The list of attendees includes Kittle, Travis Kelce, Greg Olsen, Darren Waller, Mark Andrews, Zach Ertz, Evan Engram, Noah Fant, Austin Hooper, Kyle Rudolph, Cole Kmet, Mike Gesicki, Jonnu Smith, Logan Thomas, Marcedes Lewis, Tyler Higbee, Eric Ebron, Kyle Pitts, Dallas Goedert, David Njoku, Kaden Smith, Irv Smith Jr, Hunter Henry, Chris Herndon, Hayden Hurst, Dalton Schultz, Chris Manhertz, Colby Parkinson, Blake Bell, Ross Dwelley, Dominique Dafney, Robert Tonyan, T.J.
