I think it's a cool but fairly empty gesture at this point. Seems to me they're taking advantage of this period in time and only doing it to bring back fans. Regardless, I like seeing them correct this failure, but it rings somewhat hollow to me. Almost like they're pandering as opposed to doing it because it's the right thing to do.

agreed. That’s typically how these things work, though. Public opinion/pressure leads to changes far after changes should of occurred. It’s certainly not because those in charge of MLB suddenly had a change of heart, like you’re saying lol
