After watching games across the league week 1, I think they should pump up the artificial crowd noise more. Though it was a little off seeing a big play being made and no crowd noise until after the play was over, I'd like to have a little more noise pumped in pre snap. It's weird being so quiet.

I actually think they need to turn it off completely. At least during the bears game, it was too loud and didn't fit what was actually happening. I almost had to mute it because it was so annoying and fake. A constant annoying white noise that was distracting.

The crowd and the flow of the game didn't sync.

I don't think the players heard the crowd noise. Thought it was done by the networks strictly for television

I didn’t mind the crowd noise, but I thought the virtual fans were ridiculous.
Detroit had the place packed. Wonder how much it cost to get 60K cutouts.

Running to the fridge to grab a beer was utter confusion every fucking time.

Said this during the game. It sounded like a three hour constant cat hiss. It's like some 5 year old fell asleep with his head on a midi keyboard. You would think they would assign a guy to each game to make the effect at least somewhat match the scenario.

Are you kidding, it was annoying. We don't need more of it

To make it more realistic, there should be a "You suck, Goodell" at least once a quarter.

I thought the crowd noise during hockey was pretty good. During football it was stupid annoying and never fit. Shitty white noise.

Listening to MNF it seems they got some pretty clear negative feedback about the shit fake crowd noise. It is much more situationally appropriate and varied in intensity tonight.

Will they pump in noise at Soldier Field while the Bears have the ball?

I watched the game with no sound, I didn't notice it until I watched the highlights on youtube this morning. even still, it didn't bother me. the game being silent would bother me. that's an interesting dynamic that the players will be missing out on, especially when on defense at home. never thought of that.

It sucked. How hard could it be to have a dude with a fake crowd noise soundboard, so at least the noise is better synced with the action?

It will get better and while I sure don't need it, I think it's there to take fan's mind off of the current situation and allow some escapism. I feel it's an overall positive. Just pretend all the games are in Chicago and the fans are appropriately making noise at the wrong times.
