Cubs: Brennen Davis, OF (MLB No. 45), Double-A Tennessee
The second-ranked Cubs prospect extended his hitting streak to five straight games while posting his second straight multihit effort. Davis recorded three extra-base hits in a single game for the first time this season. He ripped a double to center in the fifth, lined an RBI double to center in the seventh and laced another RBI two-bagger -- this time to left -- in the ninth. The 21-year-old has amassed 17 extra-base hits and 15 RBIs this year. Cubs prospect stats»

Another guy that should bet promoted soon is Jared Young. He played at Tenn in 2019 and just got activated from the DL a week ago. Rivas was picked up as a filler in the offseason and got bumped up to Iowa to open up playing time for Young.

Rivas: .195 at Iowa.
Young .447 at Tenn

Pretty much a no brainer. Swap the two when Davis promotes. Now Hermosillo has been very solid as a CF in Iowa. But he most likely gets pushed to a corner for Davis.

I would expect around the Draft. July 11-13. It falls after the ASG and teams will look to move players around to create openings for the new talent. So that is when to expect some promotions and cuts.

Not to mention teams will be focused on the ASG. Then the draft. After that it will be open trade season. That is what to expect this month.

Hernandez has 3 Walks, 2 hits, and 1 strikeout in 2 games with DSL Blue. Also, he is doing it against pitchers that are 20-21. Outside of a horrendous 1st game fielding, 2 errors you dang developing kid you, he is lookong sharp. He turned a Double Play today. His plate approach appears to be a total 180 from Javier Baez (thank god).

Hanging curve. So if a back up hits a homerun on a hanger it is no big deal.

.220/.264/.314 vs low A pitching.

Last year I was not really all giddy about using a #16 pick on a glove first SS. But after seeing the SDP trade and getting Hernandez after. Even less.

Im at the point of saying trade him when close to contending again to fill up the roster. I would rather put my money on Hernandez.
