Barney cut his knee today and for sure is out for Opening day. Might have to DL him which lets Alberto Gonzalez make team LMFAO

Understatement... it was a ridiculously awful pick with or without mono.

Yeah, true. He had good stats against shitty schools, not the big schools that have all the top players. He was a 2nd round pick, possibly 3rd. But Hendry said, they heard rumblings that teams were gunna take him before the Cubs pikc. I call BS and who cares. Get the better player and get the next best in the 2nd round. They were too cheap and why they went with him.

Brett Jackson was named #15 by MLB Network on most likely to make a huge impact on their team and win ROY. It is a combination of all teams so 15 is really not bad. Hopefully he has a turnaround similar to that of Rizzo as they both struggled mightily in their first ML call-up. I think Jackson could be the key for the Cubs this year. We are really weak in the OF, and at 3B. He could fill in for DeJesus if he or Soriano are traded in CF and he would be an upgrade over DeJesus. Could be a dynamic, All-Star caliber OF in a few years with Soler and Almora. Jackson is the biggest question of the group. He could be a top of the order guy for years to come or a strikeout machine that sticks on as a 4th OF throughout his career.

Gonzalez up as Barney goes on DL. Barney says he stopped feeling so bad for his leg injury when he saw L'ville's Ware's knee injury.

I say Raley be taken off... Stewart i guess make sense but heard he should be back in May which be about 4 weeks.

Yeah it appears like the Cubs were sneaky and removed Trey McNutt when no one was looking. Hopefully he sneaks through waivers and can be a reliever in IA this year.
