I’d love to never hear about either of these guys again. Miller is a good dude but he was here for 5 min and the Bears trot him out like a mascot.

I love Jay but not for his on-field production. We don't exactly have a ton of great QBs in our history to be so picky about which ones we regard and disregard. Cutler is iconic to this franchise despite being mediocre.

The last one he did with McCown was good, but I haven't had a chance to listen to the whole thing of this one yet

I thought the details he went into surrounding the night of the knee injury were interesting (toward the middle of the podcast)--specifically having David Garrard come with him (who was in the stands watching the game) to the hospital, his description of the procedure details, and the subsequent difficulty he experienced weaning off the pain killers a month later.

If you're not familiar with Miller's road to the NFL (and if you remotely care), his story there is interesting as well (transferring from Nebraska to D2 Nebraska-Omaha in order to get on the field, being a successful QB, being unable to throw at his pro day due to injury, feeling completely out-of-place at first in the NFL, etc.)

He also explains why he didn't pursue coaching as a post-playing-days career option, as he is limited in how long he can stand (i.e., minutes, not hours). I hadn't heard that directly stated before.

I thought it was worth the listen.

You know you could just ignore the thread right?

Had no clue. Thanks for letting me know. I’ll make sure to not remember this moving forward.
I'll remember to keep making them because I know how much you ❤️ Cutler
