This is his only run over 30 ? Yards? Being serious. I like Monty a lot, he’s not a problem but he’s also not some elite back.

I agree he's not elite but he's a good RB that runs hard and never goes down on the first hit. We should of used him more as a receiver out of the backfield cause he does have good hands but with now having D.Williams and having Cohen back we could have a very good RB unit.

Montgomery isn't even close to as complete a back as Forte was. Talk to me after Montgomery puts up five 1,000 yard rushing seasons.

He made some bad Bears teams fun to watch. Felt like he could turn a touch into a score at any given moment. Absolute workhorse and great player.

Montgomery is not currently an issue. He's a competent workhorse for our team.

With Nagy going back to playcalling duties and teams stacking the box against Andy Dalton our run gane has no chance. Its a shame because he was really churning when Trubs came back from the bench.

Forte should have been All-Pro in 2013 with his 1900yds+ of total offense. Instead it went to Fat Eddie Lacy

I suppose if he were used more like Matt was by a coach who actually knew how to use a run game we would see a different Monty. He also needs to be utilized in the passing game more.
