I think Holt and Wayne will get there eventually (as would Marvin Harrison if he hadn't been potentially implicated in that murder case in Philadelphia). Johnson probably deserves to be there, but doesn't have the Super Bowl ring, which might hurt him.
I was kind of thinking this about Johnson, but he has more street cred with Pro Bowls and All Pros I guess.

Richard Dent and Jim Covert took forever to reach the hall, just remember that.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Bears
The guy is to return specialists what Tom Brady is to QBs and what Sweetness is to RBs.

This is a MASSIVE blunder by the PFHOF voters.

I actually think that across the board for EVERY hall of fame, all journalists voting privileges should be revoked, and spread out and given to people who retired from that same sport, either as an athlete or coach or front office. Let the people who actually know something about that sport vote.

For every player that is HOF worthy, a common question that gets passed around is "When will we see their like again?"

Well, to get another Hester, you would have to change the rules of the game. That simple, really. There wont be another guy who changes the game like Hester until then.
Agreed!!

we get it. you don't like journalism. you like bloggers and twitter accounts that claim to have sources and spew fake news.

for someone who thinks you do your own research so that makes you an expert, sure does seem backassward to run with this take that only ppl who played the sport or coached it, know the sport.

idiot
