Would have been nice to spend that money on offensive playmakers or oline. Hated it at the time, still hate it.

Yes it would have, especially with how Mingo has stepped up. He is out playing Quinn and is so much cheaper. Good job Pace!!

Mingo is not outplaying Quinn. Mingo gets caught out of position too often. Pagano is wasting this talent.

They should have spent that money on the OL or at a skill position on offense. His signing never made any sense to me.

Mingo needs to be cut. Then maybe Quinn can get more reps. Even then it won't matter because Pagano has gone soft for some reason.

Pace and this coaching staff can’t be on the same page. You don’t sign Quinn if the game plan is to be bend but don’t break. You sign him if the plan is to be in attack mode.
Pagano is wasting salary cap and significantly adding to the issue of losing the field position game...every game. This offense needs more opportunities with a short field.
This D has all the talent needed to be a 3 and out unit as well as a unit that puts pressure on causing turn overs. Unfortunately, it is not happening and it’s due to philosophy.
Pagano should not be getting a free pass by anyone with the resources that Pace has provided.

Me too. I was on record with not loving it. Had a pretty good year last year, cashed in and will disappear for the rest of the contract. Wasted money.

Chicago has dedicated $120 million in guaranteed money to Mack and Quinn. The result so far:

Mack is still a stud.
Quinn barely plays and has 1 sack.
Pagano insists on dropping one of them into coverage constantly.

Excellent post! This is what I have been trying to say for weeks but you wrote it out perfectly. Pagano has to change or go.
