The Bears placed Dusty Dvoracek on season-ending injured reserve 11 months ago and the former third-round draft pick is now retired.

Dvoracek went through a string of serious injuries with the Bears, the last one a torn ACL that shut him down before the 2009 season. Dvoracek played in only 13 games during four seasons, making 12 starts in 2008.

Now, DustyDvoracek.com leads you straight to his new venture, All-American Auto Finance. He's associated with Moore Auto Sales in Oklahoma. A tip of the cap to Bill Barnwell from Football Outsiders, who had Dvoracek's new business pop up as an Internet ad on his computer.

He had potential if he stayed healthy.

Him and Mike Brown going down simultaneously against San Diego in Week 1 made my heart hurt badly.

I don't ever cry, but both of those made water come out of my eyes and fall into my beer :(

D-Vo was a tuff sumb*tch next to Tommie Harris...

You almost get the impression that Tommie and Dusty belonged together (no homo). They were studly at OU together, and their success didn't skip a beat in the NFL together on the Bears DL. But when either of the two was hurt, the other just wasn't the same.

Dvoracek had a high motor than never stopped. Gave his all every play, sad to see a good player that had a lot of potential end his career.

It hurt to watch that game go down like it did. Our D was bitch-slapping their high powered offense nearly that entire game. Brownie's interview in the locker room was hard to watch.
