Tell me about his skill set/ practice performance/ intangibles to be promoted over Clauson.

I don't get it. If he is that bad that he can't take the backup job from Clausen of all people then just give up on him. No practice squad no nothing because he must be terrible.

I'm an advocate but really, we don't see him practice. None of us has a good handle on what Fales is or can be. I just don't see him worse than Clausen but who knows? Maybe he doesn't have enough arm strength to pull it off. Could be they bring him back again. Maybe not. I doubt anyone truly expected him to be the future and most of the talk was the usual backup QB fun and games.
