Technically true, but in my mind OKC stole that franchise from Seattle
Not really. The owner knew that the franchise would move if he sold to the okc group. If he really wanted to keep the team there he should have waited for a local buyer.

Keep in mind a lot of guys I picked are pre-1990s.. meaning I never watched them play live..but loved watching retro clips of them.

This was hard for me.
I lost touch with the NBA the day the Bulls hired Tim Floyd.
If this were a top 2 or 3 for each team, it would have made it easier.
I am sure there are worthy canidates post 90's but from about 2001 on, I wasn't paying close attention to the game any longer.
Now NCAA? That's still the best game around.

My prime NBA viewing period is about 1995-2007..Childhood to college basically.. Once i really geared up on the social life in college I started to gradually lose touch with the NBA. By 2010, I think I was pretty much only watching the Bulls, anything else would rely on clips or just simple stat watching, but even that has become less and less every year. Now I sort of pay attention to the standings/stats but I don't even watch games unless its a Game 7 in the playoffs or the Finals.

I stayed away from guys I didnt really watch. I love Larry Bird, but I only remember watching one game live with him.
Same with Wilkins and guys like that.
