This pretty much is a unanimous opinion throughout the nation but the dumbest fans in the NFL and somehow the biggest propagandists (the fans) for one of the worst organizations disagree

I can counter with the ohio state qb's in the nfl list. Let me know if you haven't seen it

I've seen that list. And when ya do the math, those ohio state qb's on your list have a winning NFL record.

This was a good offseason for Matt Eberflus, who got his head coaching break for a franchise that loves defense as much as he does and got two plug & play secondary players in thr draft this defense desperately needed.

This was a good offseason for Ryan Poles, who was able to negotiate some small "what can you do for me" contracts while unloading some crippling veteran contracts. He also got a lot of value in a backloaded draft and traded back with ease.

This was a dogshit offseason for Justin Fields, but I am sure he can hand the ball off to his backfield just fine while the Bears regress to their "safe space" of playing football like it is still 1940 something.

But come on....are you really that surprised, Bear Nation???

I guess the Bears can be cancelled out of the list. With the 2 QBs being the winners and playing on the Bears(of course)

So this whole Ohio State qb thing doesn’t make sense to me. Except for Haskins who obviously had underperformed, it looks like all other qbs appropriately were taken in later rounds. It’s not like there were a bunch of over drafted qbs that stunk it up in the NFL. What a bunch of overhyped bullshit.

No, but 1 more potential #2-3 signing would make me feel a little better.

Edit: rather 1 more proven #2-3 signing would make me feel better. Maybe a late cut or trade.

All these articles cite the same thing. "Abandoned Fields" but the two picks for the secondary were actually really good.

We didn't have nfl caliber talent at RCB & SS. Those had to be filled.

And the biggest issue was Nagy's offense, correct? That was pretty much unanimous on the board. But who knows, maybe Sky Moore coulda saved Justin's career. ?

Yep.

I expect Justin to play much better than last year. He's still got Monty to catch out of the backfield and Kmet in his 3rd season. Many ppl on this board always say TE is one of the hardest positions to adjust to from college to the pros. If Kmet is going to be anything special we'll see it this year. Especially since we don't have a bona-fide wr1.

But yeah, if Fields struggles, get ready for every excuse in the book.
