The Bears' first depth chart came out Monday, listing Matt Forte as the starting running back and Johnny Knox and Devin Hester as the starting wide receivers.

Forte is backed up by (in order) newly acquired Chester Taylor, Kahlill Bell and Garrett Wolfe. At the receiver spots, Rashied Davis and Earl Bennett are behind Knox and Devin Aromashodu and Juaquin Iglesias are backing up Hester.
On the offensive line, Roberto Garza is listed at left guard and converted tight end Lance Louis is the starter at right guard.

The defensive depth chart lists Mark Anderson and Israel Idonije as co-starters at left defensive end, opposite Julius Peppers. Nick Roach and Pisa Tinoisamoa are listed as co-starters at strong-side linebacker.

The starting safeties are Chris Harris (free) and Danieal Manning (strong), with top draft pick Major Wright the co-No.2 along with Josh Bullocks at free safety.

Major won't be a backup for long and I expect Chris Harris to play SS alongside him. Also, why Earl Bennett isn't liked by Martz and the coaching staff is a mystery, he has good chemistry w/ Cutler and he lead the Bears in YAC.

Earl has been injured a lot during the offseason and is reportedly struggling to learn the playbook more than anyone else. That's his known biggest weakness, couldn't do it as a rookie or as a freshman at college even.
