Nope, actually think people were pussed because the Bears already had Thomas Jones
This false narrative gets thrown around so much. Jones hadn’t even hit 1000 yards rushing in a single season when Benson was drafted. He never started being a really good RB till the 05 season.

The players were the ones pissed. They believed all they needed was Jones. Him holding out didn't help either. He was unliked before he ever walked in the door. I distinctly remember comments made by the players back then.

That waffling cunt doesn’t even know what he believes or doesn’t. He’s a waffling cunt because the industry calls for waffling cunts for viewership. Best not to waste anytime on waffling cunts
i dont understand how people fall for this stuff and get upset.

@Enasic

I'm not saying there isn't an adjustment, and as those articles say some guys have less of a problem than others, but it's not that unusual and certainly not something that most guys can't overcome. And Tyron Smith is a terrible example since he was an elite left tackle who was a 4 time All Pro and named to the NFL's all decade team. He may have struggled a bit early on in 2012(presumably when this article was written) but clearly it was the right move in the long run.

So if the argument is that Davis, despite saying he has no problem playing elsewhere, can't play left guard, it's a very flimsy one.

No idea. It only helps perpetuate the waffling cunt’s popularity and success though, which is the funny part

Never said he CAN’T….. but we don’t know how he will do. And neither does he.

Are you doubting it as a thing?
It’s easy to figure out if you play certain sports. In wrestling, you lead with your dominant hand. To transition to MMA, a wrestler has to switch leads and fight out of the opposite lead for striking. I remember at my gym years ago, a good wrestler arguing with my coach over the fact that he couldn’t change leads. He wanted to keep his right up front when striking. He spent the whole boxing session complaining. Some dudes just are wired to use one side.
