Let's not do the "Talk ourselves in to thinking Gardner Minshew might be good because he is one of the few realistic options" thing.

I've heard he's more or less a stat padder. Putting up #'s when the Jags are out of the game. As a bridge option I probably wouldn't mind it over some other names, but they should be looking to the draft or making aggressive moves for real proven commodities.

possibly in 2020 when the Jags 31st D gave up 31 pts a game. Same could be said for any QB with a shitty D.
In 2019 (Flip was the OC) when the Jags 21st D gave up 25 pts a game, he started 12 games going 6-6 with 18 td's and 4ints so no real padding there.
