They rolled out a great program many years ago- a power company wanted money and authorization to build 2 nuke plants.
Germany allowed 1 with huge financial support under the condition they bought back energy from solar customers at x amount per kwh for 5 years.

Then, they guaranteed backing on loans banks gave homeowners for solar- if the banks loaned at low rates.

The result was a win for the banks, win for the power company, won for the environment, and win for the government,

Yet here, green energy is seen as wacko.
