The Sox were swept by the Astros and it wasn't even close. Bringing a knife to a gun fight was not the correct approach. While the Sox lick their wounds, will they also make some changes? Could Sox fans see Jake Burger in the bigs soon? We were joined by Diamond Digest contributor Jordan Miller to help us stay on the level. The Sox were over matched in almost every aspect but hopefully this series is the exception and not the rule. Go Sox!

Yeah that was as ugly a series as you can get, only one game was actually competitive. They need to make a move at the deadline or wait for Jimenez and Roberts to return, the brass has a decision to make, because either way they can't go far in the playoffs running back-up players at best out there game after game. Jake Burger is an option that looks viable, he has looked good lately and if nothing else could give that line-up a different look.

Given a drastic change as significant as this pitching alteration I would re-evaluate everyone in the system, pitchers and hitters as this effects both.

A team that adapts fastest and best is going to have a significant baseball advantage.
