Harbaugh. He has done it in the NFL. Found people who made Smith and Kap to winning QBs. Plus has philosophy of running the ball. Also worked with Luck. He can develop QBs

DaBoll

I like his range of experience and how he has made an offense that plays to Josh Allen's strengths.

When you look at the coaching staffs that he has been on - he has 5 Superbowl rings as an assistant with NE and a college National Title as the OC at Bama. He has seen what it takes to win.

Harbaugh.

In this first 6 years Daboll was an OC in the NFL (CLE, MIA, KC, and BUF), his offenses were not very good.

His success seems to be directly tied to Josh Allen's meteoric rise and the addition of Stefon Diggs.

Even in the last two years, the Bills have lost some games because he refuses to run the ball. There have been a few games where the Bills RBs combined had less than 10 carries.

I'm just not sold on him.

Harbaugh.

Has anyone looked at Dabolls history? He’s been a failed OC more than once. Not saying he can’t be good but given this hypothetical, give me the guy whose done it before
100% this. Harbaugh has more proven success.

Out of pure curiosity, I looked at Harbaugh's playoff/bowl record

He is 3-6 in college bowl games (this includes a win at San Diego)

He is 5-3 in the NFL playoffs.

His last bowl game or playoff victory came in 2015 and his teams have been blown out in the last 3 losses.

I know he had a hell of a 3 year run there with the 49ers 9+ years ago. I am just not convinced that he can win a Superbowl before he wears out his welcome yet again. He strikes me as the kind of guy that can have better success in college where the players are still young and they only have to deal with him for 3-4 years.

You mean besides himzelf and/or Greg Roman?
He certainly got the max from Colin Kaepernick. A little disturbing that he couldn't fully groom Alex Smith.

Harbaugh is not one of the 9 coaches the Bears are scheduled to interview. Are people just fantasizing or is there something that makes you think it's a possibility?
Exactly.

...and of course the Daboll gets over-hyped after a blowout win.
