The Blackhawks did not go through line rushes during morning skate in Nashville, but head coach Jeremy Colliton confirmed that he will roll the same lineup from Sunday's win over the Kings tonight on the road, including Robin Lehner starting in goal.

Here were the starting line combos on Sunday:

We just dont have the speed right now. We still play slow in the d-zone, and struggle getting the puck out. Speed will also help when those puck battles.

We also don't have hockeyIQ or the ability to hit a man-sized target with a pass.

Writing was on the wall in 2015. You could see then speed was going to be taken over; we were able to get by with superior talent and IQ.

Until we get more speed a lot more aggressive on the forecheck we wint be making the playoffs

100% agreed! The D have got be be quicker getting to pucks - got to fish them out of the corners and get turned up ice to activate the offense before the opposing forwards get a chance to get on them and turn pucks over.
Then the Hawks' D are fishing it out of the net.

Fun fact: Leher has a GAA of 3.00 but a save percentage of .930 tonight as of now.

Being out shot 3 to 1! I don't know that I have seen that before.

Watching the difference between the Hawks' D men and Nashville's is like night and day.
Nashville's D anticipate the play - get to loose pucks quickly and just turn the play right around and exit the zone. Bing - bang - boom!
They also use very good gap control to limit the time and space of the oncoming forwards. The Hawks' D men used to be very good like that... once upon a time.

The first person to be replaced should be Sheldon Brookbank. This D group stinks, are miss-paired, and incorrectly deployed.
I agree they are slow but they really shouldn't be this bad.
