The Bears have swung and missed so many times over the years at the QB position.....I'm just gonna go ahead and say that the law of averages dictate that they hit a home run here.

Well, imo, teams at the top fell in love with particular guys for who knows what reason. The 9ers are especially puzzling. And the Zach Wilson pick already looks troubling af
But I am personally convinced some rumor mongering was going on behind the scenes about Fields. And I also believe there was a racial component - both the regular institutional type and a more specific kind resulting from Fields speaking up in Georgia. Just my opinion.

So here is my theory:
Week 2 Fields starts. He comes out to standing ovation
Drops back pass, boom! 60 yard TD pass to Mooney and the crowd erupts. Fields goes over to the sidelines and him and Nagy embraces but Fields keeps holding on to him
Then it happens, Fields drops Nagy with a stone cold stunner and the crowd gets silent. He then takes off his bears jersey and reveals a Packers one underneath and walks to the back
After the game, Fields tells reporters that Chicago doesn’t deserve him and he demands a trade to the Packers. Pace being the simp he is obliges and trades fields and 5 1st rounders to the packers for Rodgers. @msadows praises the trade.
During Rodgers press conference instead of going in front of reporters to talk, he instead stone cold stunners Nagy and demands a trade. We then trade Rodgers to the Broncos for Teddy Bridgewater and remain in QB hell

This is fantastic to hear from your rookie quarterback. I hope he really does push that same culture in the locker room of everyone putting in the work or fucking off elsewhere. Its the only way they will make something of this roster.
