This is fantastic to hear from your rookie quarterback. I hope he really does push that same culture in the locker room of everyone putting in the work or fucking off elsewhere. Its the only way they will make something of this roster.
Let's not get over our skis bruv. The story comes from Erik Lambert who is probably heavily invested in Doge and never even heard of XRP....

Well, Yahoo sports was Eriks inspiration.

My question for anyone though, is who are the other 4 QBS???? Erik, nor Yahoo Sports expand on this.

"THE 16-QUESTION LEARNING EFFICIENCY SECTION—THINK: 16 PAIRED CONCEPTS THAT ATHLETES NEEDED TO ABSORB AND THEN REITERATE—FIELDS IDENTIFIED ALL 16 RESPONSES CORRECTLY, GOLDMAN CONFIRMED TO USA TODAY SPORTS.

OF 125 PROFESSIONAL QUARTERBACKS WHO HAVE TESTED (NOT ALL ARE CURRENTLY ON ACTIVE ROSTERS) IN THE LAST DECADE, ONLY FOUR OTHER QUARTERBACKS HIT ALL 16."

Yahoo Sports has nothing to do with the aptitude test that Fields destroyed.

There are hof qbs as dumb as @dabears70. Maybe even as dumb as @Noonthirtyjoe

I'm totes happy that Justin Fields is a smart combination of @remydat @Xuder O'Clam and @Grimson but intelligence doesn't make a qb.

That being said, we had Mitchell trubisky who had all sorts of physical talent and is athletic af but much like @vickashley his head is a total mess lol.

Athletic for a white QB? I never found him to be that athletic or physically talented imo. He did have a little stiff mobility though.

Do agree he was lacking something mentally. Perhaps he'd be better served in a half field read offense like Cutler in DEN. IDK or care though. I didnt like the guy at QB from the start. #calleditondraftdaybutwasnt-here..... Cool Camry story though.

Along with other factors - intelligence ‘does’ help make a QB successful. If a guy is not smart enough to understand coverages and read defenses, he is going to be in trouble.

If a guy is too dumb to know when to not force a ball into double and triple coverage, or too dumb to tuck the ball away and scramble or get out of bounds, he is going to be in trouble.

Also, if a guy is too dumb to digest and completely understand the offense that coaches want to run, that hurts the football team. We saw that with Trubs where the offense had to be scaled back because he did not understand all of it.

Is intelligence a guarantee of success? No.

But I would damn sure rather have a QB with intelligence… than one without it.

Do you want me to help?

But I am personally convinced some rumor mongering was going on behind the scenes about Fields.

Maybe it was Pace doing it so he fell^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Now when you take that intelligence and combine it with Fields athletic ability you have the real deal.

Fields and Lawrence were hyped since they were 13 as future NFL quarterbacks.

The only oddity here is somehow one of them is a Chicago bear.

I am currently happy with this and not worried about Fields. I AM worried about the same old things, such as Oline, Secondary, Nagy play calling, etc.

But I'm not worried about Justin Fields.
