How did you get into posting on Forums?

How did you discover them? What was the first one?

MaddenMania for me. Then went through a couple forums, created my own Madden one, etc. Eventually turned into creating my own Chicago Sports one.

Started looking for info on Madden 2001 or possibly earlier.

This is honestly the first and only one I've posted on consistently in well over a decade.

I found it because I was complaining to my cousin that it was hard to get good Bears talk/news out here in the desert.

He pointed me here, and now I don't have to waste time looking for up to date info. Just show up and have a conversation on anything Bears related.

Also nice to have random conversations in the sub forums about current events and general thoughts on everything from cooking to gardening to politics...

To be honest...........Scout was the first........posted there for about 3 years under a different name and then found CCS. Was amazed to find a message board with more than 2 posts a day once they got rid of the Smack Forum. I paid 99 bucks a year to be a premium member so I could get JS's insights and his gameday chat. It stopped being worth it when Fox came in and banned the press from doing videos...........and by that time I was banned on the Packers, Vikings, and Lions boards. No idea why.

Around 2008 Limewire and MySpace were dying so i started looking elsewhere and came across a small hip-hop forum that had download links to all the new music.
