The usual 1st quarter ," then 3 quarters in the 3rd etc...?
Probably needs more reps in the new system. Do they play him more??

Yes. Having an extra game helps a lot here.

Depends how well he is picking things up. If he struggles to start the preseason, I'm sure they will give him more reps. But if he plays well...dont risk injury.

This is how i think it goes for the 5 pre season games.

HOF Game: 1 Series

Game 1: 2 series

Game 2: 1st quarter

Game 3: First half (possibly a drive into the 3rd depending on performance)

Game 4: Doesn't play at all

I wouldn't be surprised if almost no projected starters play at all in the HOF have. I don't think 10 plays in that game at all. We'll see in a couple weeks.

I would. We only have so much time to get this new offense in synch. And we know Nagy is A stickler for the details. They may not play much, but they will play some...

I think we may see more defensive starters Sit the HOF out. But as far as offense I think they all suit up with the exception of Robinson and Long (playing it safe)

I'd be very surprised. The team, and Trubisky in particular, need as many reps as possible to learn and succeed in the new system.

I would have him in on every offensive play of every game for experience. Then, I'd put him at safety so he can see it from the other side of the ball. Smart.

Same reps they give all starters every year... I don't see it changing.

1 Series HoF game.

1-2 series depending on results for game 1
several series to 1 Qtr for game 2
first half and 1 series in 2nd half for game 3
1-2 series for game 4.

I would give him 1 series in HOF game
1 quarter in Game 1
1 quarter in Game 2
1 half in Game 3
Sit in Game 4
