Was your Turkey dry? Was your stuffing hard and crispy? Did your food turn out the way you wanted it to? Did your relatives bring a dish that was hard to swallow?
Did you get into any arguments talking about ...politics,.. religion or anything else? Did you drink? Did you get too drunk? Did you fight?
Anything you want to share? Love LOU

Geez I guess no one has come from a dysfunctional family like I did. That's a good thing

Sous Vide Scallops finished in a pan for crispiness was awesome. Sauce with garlic, butter, splash of white wine and cream made it extraordinary.

Anything you want to share?

Hulu's reboot of the 90's iconic Animaniacs is still a lot of fun if you enjoyed the original run, but it probably won't make any new fans on it's own. They brought along Pinky & The Brain , but are missing literally everyone else.

7/10

....and my turkey was ****ing spectacular.......

Just the wife and I but we cooked like everyone was here. New rub and injection for the turkey in the fryer was excellent. 19 pound turkey for 2 people. Will last 6 months.

Prime rib for Xmas if the kiddos can't come. They have no respect for prime rib. They like it medium and medium well. Just buy roast beef for god's sake.

Please expound. You are talking Prime Rib? Was actually thinking of smoking it. Is that allowed or would I be ruining a great piece of meat?

Reverse sear is when you smoke it to an IT of say 100-110 then put it on a hot grill and sear it to IT of around 135 for rare.

Aldi has been having Prime Rib on sale the past few years at $ 6.99 lb.
Mine will be on the smoker rotisserie low slow, then I will finish it off with a flame thrower at the end as it rotates .

That sounds fantastic. Scallops are so good when cooked perfectly, but they are tricky for me to get right on the stovetop. Sous Vide seems perfect for it before a quick sear.
