He was a beast his rookie season, but the Bears wanted a better receiver out of the backfield and replaced him after 3 seasons IIRC

The arrival of Thomas Jones' signaled the end of the A-Train in Chicago.

But you're right, he was awesome in his rookie year, which was the crazy 2001 season where every bounce went the Bears way.

Ahh. I started watching in 2005, same with the Cubs. Then 2008 the Bulls, and now the 'Hawks. So...
