So my ex-girlfriend's father had a penchant for buying me Bears memorabilia all the time, and honestly autographs that weren't given to me directly and cards don't interest me at all. Also none of the items came with any authentication so I don't really feel comfortable just putting any of it up on eBay. Figured someone in here might be able to point me in the right direction on avenues to verify this stuff because I genuinely have no experience with this kind of stuff.

Get on a plane to Las Vegas with the new girl friend. Tear up the town. While there go and visit the Gold and Silver Pawn Shop with your stuff. Based on the episodes that I’ve watched, those guys know how to get things authenticated on just about anything. Maybe you can be the star of one of their shows.

I mean even if Covid wasn't a thing that seems like a big investment of time/money. I think I read somewhere that the line to get in that place is like four or five hours long. Hahaha

The Sayers card has been graded through the pain in the ass PSA and it's worth $45 b/c of that Near Mint "7."

Scroll down to see the different ratings.

My son in law is a go between for authenticators in LA. If ya tell me all you have I will run it by him and see if it is worth anything. He just had 2 Pokemon cards authenticated at 33K each. Shit blows me away. People send him cards........he drives to LA to some card authenticators place that only does it by appointment.....then drives back the same day with the values.

Place is called Collectors University in Santa Ana Ca. I guess they own PSA.

That's awesome! Here's the list:
1968 Gale Sayers card
1972 Gale Sayers card
1976 Walter Payton card
1978 Walter Payton card
1980 Walter Payton card
1969 Byron Piccolo card
1987 Matt Suhey card (Signed)
1986 Gary Fencik card (Signed)
1990 Mike Singletary card (Signed)

Dan Hampton signed ball

I don't have a COA for the balls or cards. I really appreciate it!

Apparently there are now millionaires my age who just gotta have that black magic holographic Charizard they never had as a child. Can't pretend that if I flip this stuff I won't be buying something as nerdy/dorky with the funds.

I missed the pokemon era. I grew up with shitty 80's Dunruss Rick Sutcliffe cards. By the 90's,the game was over saturated unbeknownst to us.

I buy my son Pokemons and Sports cards but I doubt they have any value.
