8 teams make the playoffs

division winner
East - who knows, but no one else will make the playoff
north- packers
South- Bucs or Saints
West - Arizona, Seattle, or Rams

so let’s say all those teams make it.

that leaves 1 of the following

bears, lions, falcons, panthers,49ers

if bears win tonight that will put them at 2 games above any of those teams. Two of the bears losses are AFC (colts, Titans)

With Nick Magic at QB, anything is possible.

Our luck....the offense will perform very well tonight with Lazor calling plays, everything looks to be heading in the right direction. We have 2 weeks (because the bye) of everyone thinking that was the magic pill to fix it all aaannnddd.....

Then we go right back to shit the rest of the way and we screw ourselves out of a decent draft pick and miss the playoffs by 1 game. #Bearsfootball

I think you're right. A win tonight puts them at 6-4.

Probably lose to the Packers.

They SHOULD win vs. Lions, Jags, Texans.

Then go 1-1 vs GB/MN to put them at 10 wins.

I won't be holding my breathe though.

AZ winning really put a damper on the Bears playoff hopes. Figures, that in a year where they expand the playoffs, the NFC could have 4 non division winning teams with at least 10 wins, and the Bears would be the odd one out..

Even if they win tonight, I doubt they'll win more than one more game (Jags or Texans) which puts them at 7-9. Bears are the worst team in the division, even when considering their smoke-and-mirrors 5-1 start.

Bears have 1 legitimate win - Carolina, and have yet to string 2 quarters together through 9 games. It's a shit team.

with this defense anything can happen in a one bad day go home scenario

besides this is Akiem hicks last season as a bear so he needs to enjoy a playoff win

Yay! Let's make the playoffs and be embarrassed by whomever we play who is a much more complete team that us.

Spoiler--we are not making the playoffs.

Its always better to draft in the teens than make the playoffs

More time to analyze 20-21 college kids

bears drafts don't start until the 3rd round. pace finds 1st and 2nd round tier talent towards the second day of the draft, it is his specialty

Tough to say really. Injuries and covid could play a big role in how this season plays out. You just don’t know.
