With Minnesota losing yesterday to Nashville, the Hawks have officially clinched the No. 1 seed in the West and a Central Division championship. While not technically eliminated from the No. 1 overall seed, a 3-point deficit with one fewer game to play than Washington makes that race largely unwinnable. What this all means is that the Hawks don't have much to play for over the final week of the regular season, beginning with today's Sunday matinee against Boston. The Bruins, meanwhile, are clinging to the eighth and final playoff spot in the east with Tampa closing hard in its rearview mirror. A lot of signs point to this being a clunker of a game, but the Hawks are always good for a surprise beatdown of a team playing for it all.

LET'S GO HAWKS!!

Without Rask covering their ass I don't see them sustaining 60 minutes against the Hawks.

This game sucks. Backes and Bergeron together.

They didn't show it, but what knocked Panik down to begin with? High stick?

Panik was pushed into the goal, I think one of the network voices said violently.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago White Sox
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
I hate to see them play like that and lose but that game meant nothing for them. The Bruins really bothered them by challenging the perimeter passing and just wanted the game more. Still like the young kids blending in and contributing:)

The next 3 games basically mean nothing. Caps are too far to get the presidents trophy from and who cares about home ice vs a team that won't get there

We should bring up Forsling... let him and Kempny play... give a rotating rest to Keith, Seabrook, Hammer, Oduya, Campbell...

We should also let Tootoo and Hayden run around smashing people as much as possible... have a Tootoo - Hayden - Hino line

Looked like he took a good bump and lost his footing. Wasn't on the replay real clear but that's what I remember seeing when watching the broadcast.

Still laughing about the Panik assist.

You shut ur mouf, poor Panik just wanted to nap in the net a bit and Bready come up shooting pucks at his head.

Q should suspend Panarin a couple games.
