Lovie has always been known for running up the score. He once scored 20 in a game, but that was with two defensive TD's.
Seriously, even if Lovie wanted to run up the score, he would have to ask someone for instructions.

It's odd to me that Texans fans are so hopeless they actually dont care about securing the #1 pick and would rather win at this point of the season. That's a whole level of hopelessness I'm at least grelateful Bear fans aren't there.

I think Lovie is smart enough to know what this was a 1 year deal. They didn't want him in the first place. The backlash from the Josh McCown rumor was too much considering the climate at the time.
