Bears vs Giants Notes
o) The Bears host their first Thursday Night Football home game since the 2008 season. In 2009 they traveled to San Francisco and lost 10-6, in 2010 they traveled to Miami and won 16-0, in 2011 they did not have a game, and last year they traveled to Green Bay and lost 10-23.

o) Cutler has performed mediocre to terrible in all 3 games. The 16-0 victory against Miami, he threw no touchdowns, one interception, but didnt mess up enough to screw the game away for the Bears. The San Francisco and Green Bay games are some of his worst games in his career.

o) The Bears last hosted the Giants at Soldier Field in 2007. They started off with a 16-0 lead only to blow the game and lose 21-16 behind starter Rex Grossman.

o) The Bears last played the Giants in 2010. Cutler was knocked out of the game with a concussion after being sacked 9 times in the first half. Todd Collins proceeded to play most of the 2nd half and looked awful doing so. The Bears lost 17-3.

o) The Bears last beat the Giants in 2006, 38-20, behind a 3 touchdown performance by Rex Grossman. Devin Hester also tied an NFL record for longest return with a 108 yard missed field goal return (has since been broken).

Anyone know what is up with Jeffery, Charlie, Jermie, Briggsy, and Marty? I see they are all questionable. Are they likely to play?

Scoot,

You've got Sproles as the Giants KR & PR. Kicker and punter may be wrong too bit I don't know who they are.

BTW I have said thanks in a while but I really enjoy these threads. Living in NC with two girls I've really got no one to talk to during the games. Hats off sir.

Bears win, I hope. Let's just hope the Giants' D-line doesn't have another night against the Bears like they did a couple years ago. I'm not taking this game for granted at all.

There is no way the Bears could lose against the Giants. If the Bears lose to the Giants, this season is over.
But I see the Bears dominating this game.

Bears 40
Giants 7
