Agreed. Free throws and turnovers are the things that scare me

Memphis infamously comes to mind, blowing a 9pt lead under 2 minutes to go. They missed 4 out 5 FT's

Edit: vs Kansas in 2008 NCAA Title game

Minnesota will be a tough one. Decent team and difficult to win on the road in the Big 10. Probably n another OT victory. Does Ayo have another trip-dub in him?

Jewels to get a case of Squirt
Minnesota is really tough at home (I think 13-1 or so) but they are also pretty banged up.

UI is due for a good game, I hope, but winning at Minnesota is tough. If they lose they will have a tough time getting a one seed imo, with @Michigan, @OSU, and @Wisconsin to come.

This has been a very solid performance from the start.

Up 32 over a team that beat Mich by 25 and tOSU by 17 in Minnesota.

Gophers are banged up, that's clear. But the Illini have played with very few turnovers since early first half, and are cruising.

Ayo is about to get his second triple-double in two weeks.

As with the first, he has not attempted a three today.

Well I missed on the OT. But that triple double is gonna help in player of the year!

When Ayo doesnt focus on taking 3's, he is just as unstoppable attacking the rim as Luther Head was

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Illinois Fighting Illini
Ayo has clearly overtaken the hype of Garza as NPOY. Underwood did a great job keeping him in the game to get his rebounds. That will play to recruits very well.

Biggest thing today is how Illinois showed teams they could try to take Kofi and Ayo out of the game, but the other 3 starters can score and the rest of the cast matters. Trent leading scorer after 1st half with 13 pts. BTW, between Trent’s steal and 1/2 court shot and Ayo’s previous sprint to the hole for a bucket, the end of the first half was improvement. They closed out the first half. They stayed on the gas in the 2nd half. Good signs.

It's certainly a WTF. Pay attention to NET rankings. Outside of a Palm and one other dude who seriously needs to change his formula, Illinois SOS is not outside of 11 with the highest SOS considered as 2nd best in NCAA.

Had no idea that RPI came to be so irrelevant.

This should be a fun week. Game tonight, Thurs and Sat.

I'd be happy with 2 out of 3.
