WY was decent last year. Defeated NIU in Sept by some crazy score (like around 50-43) and made the Potato Bowl. I am looking forward to Friday at Indiana. Early conference win could springboard them to bowl eligible this season.

Meanwhile the coach from Buffalo who was the guy I hoped Illinois woud hire, has Kansas headed for the Top 25. And they were a worse program with worse recruiting prospects than Illinois.

He’s getting some Illinois kids to stay home and that has to be phase 1, so he’s doing ok there.
At some point Illinois will have to get a real QB, and I think given their style of play, that may prove difficult. As it has been forever.
